16 août 2006 Ce matin Ken et moi on est allé marcher sur Broadway, qui est à 2 coins de rues de la marina. C'est plein de magasins, c'est plein de monde, c'est comme la Catherine à la puissance 10 pour faire une comparaison.  J'ai fait quelques commissons avec mon petit chariot à roulettes de West Marine.  2 gallons d'eau et quelques autres items.  Il y a quelques magasins assez capotés, pleins de produits frais, de fromages de toutes sortes, produits fins, etc... Puis le gendre de Ken est venu le chercher vers 13h.  Il est parti chez sa fille au New Jersey.  Il devrait revenir faire un tour dimanche lorsque Marc et maman seront ici. En après-midi j'ai fait un peu de ménage dans le bateau.  J'ai préparé la cabine de maman, puis j'ai ramassé et nettoyé le coin navigation. Pour souper j'ai pas préparé rien de trop sophistiqué, une soupe en boite sur du riz blanc. Short and sweet. Puis je me suis plongée dans un livre avant d'aller au dodo. A demain. XXX	16 August 2006 This morning ken and me went for a walk on Broadway street.  Only 2 blocks from the marina. It is full of shops and stores.  And full of people. loke the St-Catherine in Montrewal (the main street) but 10 times bigger with 10 times more people. I bought few things with my small milk box on wheels from west marine.  2 galons of water and few other items. There are some really cools shops, full of fresh products, chees of all kinds, delicatessen, etc... The Ken's son in law came to pick him up around 1pm.  They were going to ken's daughter's home in New Jersey.  he should come back on Sunday to meet marc and mom. In the after noon I cleaned the boat.  I prepared mom's cabin, then I cleaned the navigation area. For dinner I did not do anything sophisticated.  Just a tin soup on plain rice,  Short & sweet. Then I dived into my book before going to bed. See you tomorrow. XXX
