Nous sommes de retour chez Steve au coucher du soleil. We're back at Steve's house just for sunset.
Le lendemain, nous allons marcher autour de la baie de Gümbet. D'ici nous voyons le complexe Royal Residence complètement sur la gauche, de haut en bas. The day after, we are going for a walk around Gümbet bay. From here we can see the Royal Residence complex at the far left, from the top of the hill going down.
	Il y a un chantier naval où les "goulettes" sont sorties de l'eau pour réparations.  Ici, point de "Travelift", tout se fait dans la tradition d'autrefois. There is a boatyard where the "gulets" are taken ashore for repairs. Here, no "Travelift", everything is done in the old way.
Nous sommes très reconnaissants envers nos amis Steve et Kaye, pour nous avoir hébergés pendant deux semaines. Nous avons appris à nous connaître un peu plus, ce qui fut très agréable. We are really grateful to our friends Steve and Kaye, for having us stay at their house. We happened to know them a little more, and that was great.
Les oiseaux les plus communs que nous avons vus: à gauche le Geai des chênes, et à droite le Chouca des tours. The most common birds that we saw were: on the left the Eurasian Jay and on the right the Jackdaw.

Les maisons et jardins de Bodrum sont tous plus adorables les uns que les autres. Each of the houses and gardens of Bodrum are more adorable than the other.
Les oliviers sont partout, évidemment. The olive tree can be seen everywhere, obviously.
Il parait qu'où il y a des oliviers, il est interdit de les couper pour grossir le "parc immobilier". Alors dans les grandes cours où ils poussent, les gens gardent leurs poules et leurs moutons. They say that where there are olive trees, it's forbidden to cut them down to build new houses. Therefore, in the big backyards where they grow, people keep their chickens and sheep.
Nous marchions en moyenne 3 heures par jour. We were walking an average of 3 hours per day.	Sur la promenade du port, une boutique d'objets de coquillages. On the harbor walkway, shell-made items for sale.
Notre balade nous a emmenés jusqu'au bout de la jetée où l'imposant Château St-Pierre domine le paysage. Our stroll has brought us to the end of the jetty where lies the imposing Bodrum Castle.
Puis nous nous sommes arrêtés sur une terrasse où l'unanimité s'est faite autour du meilleur poisson en ville : les anchois frits ! Then we stopped on a terrace where unanimous agreement has been reached over the best fish in town: fried anchovies !
