JOUR 22 06 août 2006  Aujourd'hui on a fêté le 6 août en restant à la marina de Hampton  car ils annoncent du vent du nord et ce n'est pas favorable.  Aussi nous avions quelques travaux à faire. C'est la première journée depuis le début du voyage, où on n'a pas du tout bougé. Ken a changé l'huile du moteur, il a recollé la bande de caoutchouc autour du capot du moteur qui décollait tout le temps.  Aussi nous avons installé le dinghy dans l'autre sens, à moitié sur le deck pour éviter qu'il ne bouge trop et qu'il fasse trop de pression sur les "davits" (grosses braquettes à l'arrière du bateau où on accroche le dinghy).  On a déjeuné-diné vers les 10h30, après une bonne douche. J'ai fait des oeufs bacon, patates rôties. Puis on a fait une brassée de lavage et on a pris ça relaxe en fin d'après-midi.  Musique et lecture dans le cockpit. Pour souper j'ai fait des tortillas fourrées avec des "refried beans" aux jalapino, et une mixture de poulet en canne avec oignons, poivrons, céleri, et beaucoup de cumin.   Servi ça avec des nachos. Puis ce fut le thé et biscuit, et encore lecture avant le dodo à 9h00. Demain matin on part vers 7h00.  On est supposé avoir du vent du sud.  On va en profiter pour faire le plus de chemin possible sur cette mer intérieure qu'est la Chesapeake Bay. Bisous XXX	DAY 22 06 August 2006 Today we celebrated ugust 6th by staying in Hampton because they forecast a Northerly wind that does not favor us.  We also have some works to do. This is the 1st day, since we laft Ft-Lauderdale 22 days ago, that we don't go somewhere. Ken change the oil engine, glued a rubber stripe on the engine cover that was coming off all the time. We also put the dinghy halfway on the deck so it will move less and will be lighter on the davits (brackets that hold it on the back of the boat). We had breakfast at 1030am after a nice shower. I made egss, bacon and potatoes. Later we did some laundry en we relaxed in the afternoon.  Listening to music and reading in the cockpit. For dinner, I made tortillas stufed with refried beans with jalapinos, pepersm celeri and a lot of cumin. Served with nachos. Then we had some tea with biscuits while reading before going around 9pm. Tomorrow we will leave around 7am. They forecast a southerly wind. we will try to cover as much ground (water?) as possible on that interior sea that is the Chesapeake Bay. Kisses XXX

La marina est tellement grande que les gens s'y promènent en kart de golf. The marina is so  big that  people are getting around in golf  karts.
Un peu plus et j'étais "avalée" par la lazarette... ;o) I've almost been "swallowed" by the lazarette... ;o)
