Comme je le mentionnais dans mon journal d'hier
nous avons quitté Ridge hier soir au coucher du
soleil.
On a navigué toute la nuit et une bonne partie de
la journée, 16 heures en tout, pour nous
retrouver dans le C & D canal, à la Summit North
Marina.
Ils ont le wifi mais pour faire exprès c'est mon
ordinateur qui ne reconnait pas qu'il y a un
réseau wifi.... gros problème. J'ai
donc parlé à
Marc et envoyé mes affaires à partir de
l'ordinateur
de Ken.
Pour diner j'ai fait une salade de pois chiches,
que j'ai mangée à 2h00 car je parlais avec Marc
sur Skype.
Après cela ce fut la vaisselle, puis une sieste,
puis ensuite on est allé chez West Marine avec un
lift d'un gars de la marina pour trouver les
cartes pour la Delaware Bay, mais sans succès, ils
n'avaient rien !!
Incroyable.
Au retour ce fut le souper, j'ai fait un risotto
à la milanaise, il était absolument parmigiano
regianno !! ;o)
Après la vaisselle et le dessert, j'ai pris une
douche, puis là j'écris mon journal parmi les
maringouins qui viennent de sortir en quantité
industrielle.... he he ... on est dans une "swamp"....
Alors je vais de ce pas envoyer ceci à Marc et
ensuite me réfugier sous ma moustiquaire.
Demain matin on part tôt, on va descendre la
Delaware Bay jusqu'à Cape May, New Jersey.
On achève, on achève.... New York est de plus en
plus proche....

As I wrote yesterday in my journal we left Ridge
last evening while the sun was going down.
We sailed all night and a good part of today.
16 hours in total. And we stopped in the
C&D canal at the Summit North Marina.
They have a WiFi connection but it is my
laptop that can not see it.
I talked to marc using Ken's laptop.
For lunch I made a Chick Peas salad.
And we ate it at 2pm while I was talking to
Marc on Skype.
Afthe the dishes I had a nap then we went
to West Marine. One of the guys from the
marina gave us a ride to town.
We looked for charts or pilot books for the
Delaware bay with no luck.
Incredible !
You would expect that they will have it.
But no !
back to the boat it was dinner time.
I prepared a Milano Risotto.
It was abcolutely Parmigiano Regianno !! ;o)
Afther the dishes and the dessert I had a shower.
Then I wrote in my journal with mosquitoes
bussing around my head.
Of course we are in a swamp.
So I will go and send this to Marc and take
refige under my net.
Tomorrow morning we leave early again and we
will go down the Delaware Bay until cape may,
New Jersey.
Almost there. New York is getting closer and
closer.
