L'ouest de l'Arabie Saoudite est très montagneux.  Les routes sont sinueuses mais asphaltées. Western Saudi Arabia is very mountainous. The tar roads are winding.
Ce soir là, un bédouin nous a invités à venir installer notre campement chez lui. That evening, a bedouin invited us to set our camp at his house.
Dans cette région, la coutume veut que les hommes portent le poignard à la ceinture. In that region, custom is that men wear a dagger on their belt.	Lise porte évidemment son abaya pour l'occasion. Lise obviously wears her abaya on that occasion.
